Where am I?
Mrfs.net, you may have noticed the title up there. An eclectic assortment of webpages with no
real driving purpose.
What is there to do here?
Ignoring the existential aspects of that question, you can visit the
trips pages which is a fairly large collection of travelogues.
Why 'mrf'?
There is no particular good answer to this. A 'mrf' is not really anything in particular, but
some word had to be chosen for this purpose, and it seemed best to choose one that didn't have
any prior connotations. Plus, it's relatively short as URLs go.
How about buying a vowel?
Probably a good idea but it's too late now.
What is that thing up there in the top left corner?
Ah yes, the official MRF seal. Four otter prints and a diamond divided by a diagonal
bar (heraldic language omitted for clarity). We here at mrfs.net don't have a logo, so
we thought maybe we should have a seal instead.
What do I do now?
We can't really answer that question for you, but here are some sample answers if you're having
problems coming up with one on your own: Fix yourself a nice rum drink. Chase squirrels.
Try to sink the nine ball on the break. Square the circle. Take a nap.
What if I hate this site?
You're probably not the target audience. We've done absolutely no market research here. Most
likely you're not even reading this, but if you are you can send us hate mail
( webmaster

), or you can just ignore this window and go
read the pop-up ad which is invariably underneath it by now. (note: mrfs.net has no ads of its own).
What if I love this site?
We'd really like to hear from you via e-mail ( webmaster

). Of
course, we understand that very few people actually bother to do that, so if you'd rather you
can just come back and visit occasionally and tell a few friends about it.
What if I'm really confused and have no opinion?
On the trips pages we make a concerted effort to provide actual live facts about places
and things. All other pages on this site bear only a passing resemblance to reality. Try
to remember that and it should be just fine.
